WARRINGTON Rylands have made two further signings in a bid to bolster their squad.

The club have confirmed the additions of Ethan Young and Florian Yonsian having added experienced midfielder Mark Duffy to their squad last week.

Young and Yonsian are both in contention to make their Blues debuts tomorrow when they make the short trip to FC United of Manchester, where they will look to make it back-to-back victories to keep themselves in second spot in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Young, 20, is a left-sided defender who was last on the books of Scunthorpe United, for whom he played in both the Football League and National League before leaving prior to this season.

He also spent a loan spell in the NPL’s Midlands Division last season with Yaxley, making seven appearances.

His arrival helps offset the absence of key defender Matt Regan, who is set to miss the remainder of the season through injury.

Former Rochdale academy player Yonsian, 23, is known to Rylands boss Michael Clegg having worked with him at Ashton United – under Clegg’s charge, he netted 12 times in 36 appearances during the 2021-22 season.

He has also spent loan spells in the NPL with Trafford, Marine and Stalybridge Celtic.
