ADAMA Sidibeh has declared himself ready for the step up to the Scottish top flight after joining St Johnstone from Warrington Rylands.
Sidibeh could make his Saints debut in tomorrow’s cinch Premiership contest against Ross County in Dingwall.
The 25-year-old joined on deadline day after Saints paid an undisclosed fee to Northern Premier League club Rylands.
“I’m delighted to be here and really looking forward to playing for this great club,” he told the St Johnstone website.
“My manager told me earlier this week that St Johnstone had made an enquiry, I was really interested and it’s happened.
“I know it’s a big step up but I’m here to learn, to do my best, help the team and make the fans happy. Yes, it’s a challenge but I am ready for it.”
Sidibeh had scored 16 times in 30 appearances in all competitions, having struck up a superb partnership with Mo Touray, who has struck 10 times, but he left with their best wishes.
“They are a really good group and it’s a great club but they understand my situation and are very happy for me making this move to Scotland,” he said.
He joined Blues from Cheadle Heath Nomads in the summer and leaves with Michael Clegg’s side sitting third in the table ahead of Bradford Park Avenue’s visit to Gorsey Lane tomorrow, Saturday.
