PROMOTION-CHASING Warrington Rylands were surprisingly undone at home by bottom-of-the-table Bradford Park Avenue.

Chinedu Osadebe’s second goal for the visitors in the 87th minute sealed a 3-2 success, leaving Rylands with just one win from their last eight matches.

This was not the way manager Michael Clegg was hoping to celebrate his new two-year deal in charge of the Blues, who played around 30 minutes with 10 men after James Butler was sent off.

The first four goals came in the opening half of the Northern Premier League Premier Division clash, with Rylands going ahead through on-loan Salford City striker Djavan Pedro’s first goal for the club in the 17th minute.

It was just what his side needed, with leading marksman Adama Sidibeh having left in midweek to join Scottish Premier side St Johnstone, for whom he made his debut this afternoon off the bench in a 1-0 win at Ross County.

But Blues were not able to build on this as four minutes later, Chinedu Osadebe levelled matters and then Bradford hit the front when Edy Maieco, who started the season as part of the Rylands squad, netted (34mins).

Rylands skipper James Neild got his side back on a level footing in the 45th minute but it was Bradford who found the winner three minutes from time as Osadebe netted his second to end an eight-match losing run going back to their 4-3 victory at Macclesfield on December 16.
