A CULCHETH councillor has thanked supporters after being pelted with wet sponges for charity.
Clr Chris Vobe was ‘sent to the stocks’ at the village community day in aid of Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust.
He said: “My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who kindly donated in person or sent sponsorship pledges for my fundraiser in aid of Jo’s Trust.
“We raised more than £400 in total.”
